FjordSaga is a product of a local company called Fjordfolk in Os in Bjørnafjorden, formed by Marthe and Christoffer. Fjordfolks mission is to create new experiences for the event and tourism industry, always with a local touch and genuine authenticity.

Having lived and traveled abroad for many years, the idea of FjordSaga started with a comparison to two very different countries, both with fantastic nature and history; Norway and Italy. In Italy Cinque Terre is a famous tourism attraction, formed by 5 villages you can hike trough. In Norway you have the fjords with villages that will take your breath away, and the natural way of travel is by boat, while exploring the fjords. So we wanted to take you through the fjords, village by village, as the italians do by hiking through Cinque Terre, only by boat. We want you to be able to explore the landscape, the nature, the food, the history, the people and the waterfalls as a local. Both fell in love with the landscape and the force of nature the western Norway provides.
Both Marthe and Christoffer have moved to this part of Norway after having grown up in other parts of the country. Both fell in love with the landscape and the force of nature the western Norway provides. The colors that changes throughout seasons, yet always brings great contrast.

To plan an adventure that would give our guests the best experience possible, we have been fortunate to get the help of Vest Maritmes manager, Frank-Ove, who know every single gem, waterfall, laguna and secret of these fjords. Accompanied by Terje, the ships owner, who has travelled the fjords for years, the two of them make part of an exclusive list of captains to sail the ship through the, at times, narrow waters. Loops head designer, Kåre, has helped Fjordfolk create the profile for Fjordsaga, by creating the website and logo, but also taken many of the fantastic photos promoting our fjords. And Postracer Production by Ole Henning has produced our films used on our website and social media. Fjordfolk is very grateful for our hardworking team, producing a trip to remember!
